Ingredients
Boneless Short Ribs, 2 Pounds
Salt and Pepper, as needed
Canola Oil, 2 Tablespoons
Ginger, 1/2 Cup
Sweet Onion, 1 Cup
Beef Broth, 2 Quarts
Guava Nectar Concentrate, 1 1/2 Cup
Directions

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless short ribs
  • Salt and pepper, as needed
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1/2 cup ginger, minced
  • 1 cup sweet onion, small dice
  • 2 quarts beef broth
  • 1 1/2 cup guava nectar concentrate

 

Directions

  1. Season short ribs with salt and pepper.
  2. In a braising pan, preheat canola oil on medium high heat. Once preheated, add in seasoned short rib and brown all sides.
  3. Once browned, remove from pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, saute ginger and sweet onion until onion is translucent.
  5. To deglaze pan, add in beef broth and guava nectar concentrate, and mix thoroughly.
  6. Place short ribs back in pan making sure each piece is submerged in broth and guava mix, braising for 1 hour on medium heat.
  7. Serve and Enjoy!
